AboutCourtney earned her 200 hour yoga teaching certificate from Black Swan Yoga (Austin, TX) in 2013 and completed Sadie Nardini's Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Rockstar Teacher Training in 2014. She is recognized by Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200 and YACEP. Courtney is currently engaged in Advanced Yoga Studies with Practice Yoga Austin. Anticipated graduation in October 2021 with recognition as a 500h RYT.
Her vinyasa-based classes are upbeat with music to match, always ending in a few restorative poses to recenter yourself and realign with the reason why you stepped on your mat. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and is particularly interested in sharing proper alignment with beginners. In addition to teaching public classes, she also teaches private individual and small group classes. These can be arranged in the student's home or another preferred location. Courtney has taught various styles of yoga and workshops in Washington, DC (2018-2020; Realignment Studio), Richmond, VA (2016-2017; Shockoe Slip Yoga), and Austin, TX ( 2013-2015; Hyde Park Yoga Co. and Black Swan Yoga). She currently teaches and resides in Austin, TX. |
